Coastal Delivery Services, LLC (CDS), has provided dependable secure warehousing and delivery services for 20 years (est. 2001). CDS is family owned and operated. CDS works with a select group clients with whom CDS has established relationships due to their proximity to the ports, terminals, and waterways of Southeast Louisiana. CDS stores and delivers primarily cleaning products for the marine sector — but also will store and deliver upon request other items. Some of the items we most frequently warehouse and haul are ship spares, lighting, packaging materials, and chemicals. Our drivers are well versed in cargo securement and are fully insured and trained to haul hazardous materials. In addition to our warehousing, we also have vast experience in hauling large items, such as ship rudders, and industrial engines. We can haul anything your company may need from a small box weighing only a couple of pounds or less, up to 45,000 lbs and requiring a semi/tractor trailer. CDS does not move bulk liquids or ISO tanks.

CDS currently runs 13 vehicles, amongst them — one extra heavy. The vast majority of CDS’s deliveries are made within 100 miles of their corporate headquarters and warehouse in Belle Chasse, LA. CDS runs telematics on all units and uses the software to review driver performance to ensure both efficiency and safety. At CDS safety is Job One. CDS has a full-time director of safety and the industry experience to operate both expeditiously and safely. All drivers pass a background screening and pass through the CDS safety program. CDS’s five-year loss ratio reflects their commitment to safety; it is below 10% and it has been for all 20 years of their existence. We are knowledgeable in all aspects of FMCSA Regulations and work to exceed these requirements. When freight just won’t get it there in time, you can depend on us to get it there safely and on time.
